The Republicans don...Dan, I'm really fed up. The Republicans don't even really care that much about this issue. All they care about is tearing down Obama. The Rs will use this as their excuse for gridlock - their main goal for the next two years.<br /><br />Obama gave nearly all Americans a tax break this year, and yet 2/3 of American voters thought their taxes had increased. The only way that happens is via the mendacity of the media (most of whom, ahem, make more than 250k per year). This is the same as when Bush labeled his program as a "Middle Class Tax Cut." While technically true, it's technically not true because of the necessary borrowing. The majority of the cut went to the rich.<br /><br />Someone needs to start giving people the truth.
